All Star is our star-themed creative craft competition for the whole family. The competition ran until December 22 and is now closed. For your reference, details on how to take part are below.

Create your star

Use your imagination to come up with a fabulous star. Use any materials or medium you like! You could bake some star cookies, paint or draw a design, make a model, dress up as a star, even dress your pet as a star.... The possibilities are endless! 

What unusual idea can you come up with? We've also created some colouring templates for younger kids - and anyone who wants to join in but has limited time!

Take a pic of your star

Once you are finished, scan or take a picture of your creation.  Just to let you know, we only accept images of your entry, not video clips.


Share your star

Now it’s time to share your fabulous creation with everyone. Select the Share tab above or the button below and follow the simple instructions to upload your All Star star!
 
Children's University entries: To get your stamp code, make sure you submit your entry here (not via the Children's University). Once we have received and processed your entry, we will email your stamp code for taking part.

Check back to see your star

Check back to see your All Star entry and all the other creations in our Gallery. Allow up to 24 hours for your entry to appear on the platform as all images are moderated to ensure suitability. 
 
Make sure to let friends and family know, so they can join in and spread some joy, fun and creativity! Don't forget you can see your town on our map, and find out where other entries are coming from.

Keep an eye out here to see all the amazing All Star creations as they come in from around the UK and internationally. Our leading school with 123 entries is St. Teresa's in Bolton, followed by Brabourne CE Primary in Kent with 68 entries and St. Peters CE Primary in Folkestone with 52.

Workshop

The class got to design the stars that decorate the doors of this year's Spark UK All Star Advent calendar!

Youth mental health organisation Spark UK was co-creator on the project and supported with prizes from their partner organisations

Picture-This Books create picture books without pictures so children can become the illustrator. The company donated prizes for the competition and delivered the Christmas in September school workshop that produced the stars for the doors of the Spark UK All Star Calendar. 

Children's book publisher Farshore donated prizes for the competition.
