All Star opens on November 2 and closes at midnight on December 23. Any age can take part, anywhere in the world! See below for full information on how to take part.

Create your entry

Use your imagination to come up with either a fabulous star, or something based on the prompt 'Speak your joy'. Use any materials or medium you like! You could bake some star cookies, paint or draw a design, make a model, dress up as a star, even dress your pet as a star.... The possibilities are endless!

We have also made some star colouring templates for our younger audience (or those that are tight for time!)

**Children's University entries:** To get your stamp code, make sure you submit your entry here (not via the Children's University) and add 'Children's University' into the 'Where did you hear about us?' field on the form. 

Once we have received and processed your entry, we will email your stamp code for taking part.

Submitting 20 entries or more, either directly through school or via pupil's submissions from home, will earn you one point towards your first/ next Super Schools certificate.

**Please note, only one point can be earned per person/school for this project**

To get your stamp code for your entry, all you have to do is take a photo of your creation and submit it here (not via the Children's University). Just let us know you're part of the Children's University in the “How did you hear about the project?” box, and we'll email you your stamp code for taking part once we've processed your entry and added it to the Gallery.

The All Star Advent campaign

Spark UK is back with their annual All Star Advent campaign! Sparking conversations around mental health, each day in December you can open a 'door' on their website to discover videos from familiar faces like Stephen Fry, YouTuber Max Fosh, entrepreneur Levi Roots, and television presenter Fern Britton. Each of them will share valuable tips on mental well-being for viewers.

This year's campaign aims to shed light on mental health issues and provide a platform for celebrities to share their journeys, offering hope and support to those in need. The theme of the campaign is ‘Speak Your Joy’, aiming to encourage viewers to not only speak about their own mental health, but to also understand what to be grateful about.

The All Star competition

To celebrate the launch of the campaign, we’re once again partnering with Spark UK to bring you All Star- a craft competition that invites you to share your joy with others, no matter your age or where you are in the world.

Use any medium you like (now including video!) to create a either a star themed artwork, or a piece based on the prompt 'speak your joy'. Your submission will be shared on the gallery page and entered into a chance to win a prize!

Project partners

All Star is a fun, creative competition aimed at supporting the mental health organization [Spark UK](https://play.ootiboo.com/about-us/partnerships/spark-uk) through their annual star-studded advent calendar.

Behind each door of the calendar, well-known personalities will share mental health tips and uplifting messages, offering positivity and encouragement during what can sometimes be a challenging time, as we countdown to Christmas.
